The Baby Bee Hummingbird Giveaway - Milk Gems, With Love

For me, breastfeeding has been a defining journey.

It has been one of struggle, tears, doubt and ultimately...triumph.

From an incredibly rocky beginning, where my lactation consultant didn't think I would last a week...to nursing a now-4 year old...let's just say I have faced almost every hurdle and still find myself keeping on.

So this particular holiday gift, is one that is very close to my heart.  This particular gift is one that I believe - I truly believe - every nursing mama should be lucky enough to enjoy.

Today's item in our holiday feature, is an item of deep meaning and personal value.

Introducing Baby Bee Hummingbirds' beautifully crafted breast milk gems...

Aren't they just stunning?

And the best part is that no two gems will be the same - because each one is crafted from mom's own unique milk.

What better way to forever-remember our breastfeeding journeys than to wear them - quite literally - with pride?

Because not only are these pieces of jewellery beautiful - they really are stunning - they also hold so much meaning...

This gem reminds me of holding you close, skin to skin.

This gem reminds me of gazing into your eyes and knowing without any shadow of a doubt, that I am all you need right now.

This gem reminds me of tears.  My tears, your tears, our tears.  As we learnt together, that some things are worth fighting for.

This gem reminds me of strength.  Your strength, my strength, our strength.  As you grew stronger and stronger because of my body, because of my milk.

This gem reminds me of laughter.  Your laughter, my laughter, our laughter.  As you sang and danced through nursing sessions at every note and every angle imaginable.

This gem reminds me of connection.  A literal connection that won't last forever, contrary to popular belief...but will remain as a silent bond between us for all of time.

Because for this short time in our lives, I am your home, your source, your comfort.

There is simply no better way to capture these feelings than with a Baby Bee Hummingbirds breast milk gem.  It is, in all honesty, the most intimate and meaningful piece of jewellery that any mom could wear.

The perfect gift this holiday period - and not to worry, Baby Bee Hummingbirds offers gift vouchers too, to allow mom to tailer her own milk gem, in her own time.

And there is more!  Because the wonderful Amy at Baby Bee Hummingbirds is offering an amazing $70 of store credit to one lucky Mama Bean follower this week!  Introducing...
