What moms are saying about the 7 Days of Sleep Relief email series...

"I took today's message and stored it in my heart...Today reminded me to breathe deeply."

(Mama Amanda)

"I wish this existed three years ago, before I spent so much time and money on books and shed so many tears over whether I was doing right by our girl because she *still* wasn't sleeping through the night.  This is so perfect. I cannot wait to share."
(Mama Vanessa)

"Today's e-mail is just what I needed!  I'm so caught up in her schedule, I forget to stop and smell the roses. Thank you for reminding us to slow down and enjoy life."
(Mama Cassandra)

"I have a 4 year old and 13 month old and sometimes I feel I have no room to breathe. Over the past couple of days these emails have reminded me it's ok to take 5 minutes just for me. It's been a godsend this week!"
(Mama Alsuin)

"The emails have helped me so much!"
(Mama Christi)

"This series has truly re-strengthened me.  My 8.5 month old hasn't slept more than 3 consecutive hours since he was 2 months old (when he slept 5 hours...once). We cosleep with his crib sidecarred, and I breastfeed on demand. Last night, he went to bed at 7:30pm, and was up at 9:30pm, 10:30pm, 1am, 2:45am, 4am, 5am, 5:30am, and up for good at 6:30am. Wanna know how I know? Because I have been writing down the times. To make sure he is...I don't know. Improving?? Guess what? He's not. He will "improve" when he is ready, and it may take years. I wasn't really ok with that until two days ago. Two days ago, when I read the first email of this series...I literally let out a sigh of relief.  I hugged my son tightly and cried.  He is everything I have ever wanted, and he is perfect. 7 million night wakings and all <3  Thank you, Mama Bean!"
(Mama Kimberley)

"I love receiving these emails.  They have forced me to stop and spend a few minutes on myself and embrace being a mum."
(Mama Ruth)

"Loved this series.  I'm going to miss receiving these emails! I receive so much junk in my inbox - series that are meant to help but just want to sell something, emails that are too long to read in the short spurts of time that I have free. This has been perfect, short, to the point, insightful and thought provoking, and the tasks have been genuinely helpful and 'doable' - thank you Mama Bean.”
(Mama Kirsty)

"I wish the series wasn't over!"
(Mama Sarah)

Mama Bean's Word On Tiredness...

Tired means a different thing to me now – it isn’t something to fight or be angry with...it is something to work with.  It is a gentle whisper in my ear to reach out and ask for help…to make the most of the seconds between tasks, to breathe deeply and reset my day.  Tiredness is a nudge towards self-care; towards easy, quick and effective decisions that I can make on a daily basis to prioritise me.  And so I wrote them down in an email series…simple ways to fill my mommy cup…and I’d love to share them with you (for free, of course.)

Because when my daughter points to my under-eye shadows and tells me sweetly that I’ve got a bruised face, I know it’s time to stop and take a breath.  Care to join me?  We’re in this together - and that fact alone makes the fog a little lighter.
